I'm celebrating two things:

No 1 - Having been too busy/weary/not fussed to download all the Amazon spreadsheets (One for each month, and typically labyrinthine - Amazon always boasts of how easy it makes things, not...) to find out how many copies I have actually sold for over a year now, I finally drag myself through the process to find to my joy and delight that I have finally hit 1500! 1503 to be exact, if my spreadsheet wizardry has not let me down...

No 2: I have finally managed to do a long overdue overhaul of the creaky 2010 website that has been an embarrassment for too long. I don't know why it is that, despite my whizz-bang digital abilities in so many other areas, I have proved to be an absolute dunce in web design - no matter how easy Wix and Weebly make it.

What you are seeing is two weeks of sweat, some tears, many, many rather rude screams, one suicide attempt (to my amazement I find that you cannot kill yourself no matter how large the overdose of peanut butter - Smooth or Crunchy, it doesn't matter. Who knew?) and multiple emails to Wix, who can be rather tardy in replying. It is one of these newfangled Responsive Designs that, theoretically, readjusts itself to mobile phone and tablet screens. There are, sadly, some things that, no matter how much you try (and how many emails Wix has ignored) cannot be rectified. Mostly, however, I am relatively pleased with it. I hope you like it too. Let me know.

What I am hoping to do with this blog is to keep up-to-date with developments, bring news of people who are actually managing to put the techniques into practise, as well as asking various friends to contribute posts on new ways of using anger runs, image streaming, mind maps, wall-pushing, sit-ups, etc. Some will also be writing of other techniques that they have discovered/developed. Remember - there is not just One Way...

I have also added a Forum, which I hope you will free to join to discuss, ask questions, provide answers, tell of your experiences, grouse about The State of Theatre, ponder on the Meaning of It All. The Forum is members only. Please join and feel free to use it as what it is called - a Forum.

I'm off to the local caf to have a celebratory cream cake.
